LE HAVRE – 2012

La Fura dels Baus and the French theatre group Urban Sax were hired to work together at the opening of the new football stadium Le Havre in France.

It was a very gratifying work to be able to collaborate with the two companies.
Although the challenge was totally technical. For the aerial performance, we had to overcome the roof of the stadium with the crane.
We had to find a crane with a sufficiently long arm to overpass the stadium. This meant a crane over 500 tonnes of counterweight (the largest crane which we had worked).
